How do people deal with shelling several hardboiled eggs at one time? Just one is a feat for me

@tangleofsnakes I’ve heard that putting them straight into cold water helps.

@tangleofsnakes Put in water with ice, or running cold water for a couple of minutes when you take them out of the pot.

@tangleofsnakes Roll them under your palm once or twice, but not to sharp little pieces! They will be easy to shell.

@tangleofsnakes ooh I have a good tip for this, while they're still hot roll them around the empty pan (give it a bit of welly just don't let them hop out) so you essentially get loads of teeny tiny fractures all around the egg, then once the shell is good and squishy you can usually get the whole shell off in one

@tangleofsnakes just to add, you want to get your fingers under the membrane bit when you peel.

@tangleofsnakes I refrigerate the eggs and then crack them all over. I then take the shell off under cold running water in the sink.
