       Dear #fediverse, I am preparing to migrate my account off of mastodon.social and onto mastodon.technology. Here's the new me: @rysiek@mastodon.technology It's been a long time coming and I should have done that a while ago - keeping fedi healthy means moving away from huge instances.Admittedly m.t is also substantial, but it's an order of magnitude smaller than m.s. So, there's that.At some point this account will be made to redirect to the m.t one, and then eventually the profile will move. :blobwizard:

       @rysiek @rysiek Wow, the documentation makes it sound like your old toots be stuck on mastodon.social forever, and wiped out if you ever delete your old account. There's export, but no import. :-(

       @smallsees @rysiek@mastodon.social yah.So far so good, moving follows (i.e. accounts I follow), favorites, bookmarks, etc., pretty easy (if manual).There was no way to move the "notify me of new toots..." list, which is a bit of a bummer, but not a big one.I have not yet "moved" the profile, but I will in a few days.
