@coolboymew @josh Acchually no if you're not american. The company I work for is USA and doesn't have anything identifying me other than the name and email address I've given them. And they pay me on a bank account in a fiscal haven that's not in my name.This may be a problem in the future but I've worked like this for 20 years.If you're american you're probably fuckt though.

@josh @coolboymew HR was always the US version of CCP agents. The only difference is HR still reports to internal chain of command; but only if it's not something they must report to the EEOC or some shit. It's a cunt hair difference.

@josh I can't speak for everyone, but I have pretty nice and easy success with UpWork as a freelancer. People don't care who you are, they just want the job done.Maybe it's more difficult in your area because of all the Indian code monkey, but in my area they just wanted my profile and my skills for relatively cheap.Maybe you could make a few websites for a thousand USD each or something like that.

@josh If SEO is the problem just name yourself Joe Biden. Alternatively you could consider either you yourself creating another business entity or having someone create one for you then take freelance jobs through that structure. I haven't tried, but upwork is what my uncle recommended for freelance programming related jobs and he makes a very good living at Microsoft.

@josh I just flipped my house in pcola for 45k over my asking price off market within a couple of hours of signing with my realtor. Interest rates are super low but when the bubble pops you're going to eat all that principle. Currently renting until I see how this whole thing ends up playing out.

@josh Not sure if it is a tax issue or not if you lie. I feel like if you're using an EIN instead of a SSN anyways on the w2 it wouldn't be a huge issue? I've never tried it myself. I'd worry about the legality and know that the risk of it being exposed is higher due to the amount of attention on you.
