@FirebrandJay the subservient, nonresistent, and pacifist feel of the new testament mostly. What's a better way to control your opposition, than to give them faith to turn the other cheek while you lash them?

@Tepid_Tapir @FirebrandJay You turn the cheek to minor annoyances with neighbors, not to satanic pedophilic jews molesting your kids and subverting your religion.

@lichelordgodfrey @FirebrandJay I know there are many bits of that, but there are also bits like"Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Do not repay anyone evil for evil." That sounds like pretty serious offenses to me.

@Tepid_Tapir When the Bible tells us things like “love your enemies,” that’s referring to your enemies. As in, those persona in your life whom you have quarrels and disagreements with.At no point in the New Testament is it said to give up your nation, children, or community to a political enemy. Jesus preached to all sorts of people, including Roman soldiers. Not once did he tell the soldiers to quit being soldiers. The passage in question, turning the other cheek, refers to putting an end to hostilities and burying the hatchet when it’s in your power to do so. It’s an entreaty toward self-control and peacemaking more than anything.Jesus also tells his apostles, “I am sending you out as sheep amidst wolves, therefore be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” In the garden, he tells them that if they don’t have swords that they should sell their cloak to buy one. It’s fine to defend your life and family. It’s not okay to be quarrelsome and violent with your personal rivals.

@FirebrandJay "Bury the hatchet" do you think our enemies would grant us such a gift?I guess I just don't buy that interpretation, especially when Christians as a whole seem to view it as total pacifism as well. Even the Vatican and pope I've lost respect for. There's also verses like - (paraphrasing)Do no repay evil with evil, but with blessings (1 Peter 3:9)Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong (1 Thessalonians 5:15)Hatred causes problems, but love can fix all (Proverbs 10:12)Do not avenge anything for that is God's job (Romans 12:19)Bless and love your enemies, those who hate you, curse you, mistreat you (Luke 6:27-28)Feed and give water to your enemies when in need (gotta support isreal!) Because it will give your enemy guilt to maybe not be as much of a dick (Romans 12:17-21)If someone wants to take shit from you, give them even more than they ask (Matthew 5:40-45)Not a single line in the Bible, but just the act of Jesus dying to jews and forgiving and blessing them the entire time, also a good example of pacifism. Now don't get me wrong, some of these pacifism lines I'm totally for - Leviticus 19:18, don't seek revenge on YOUR people, gotcha. People who are, ultimately, on my side who don't want to kill me or rape my kids. But the other shit? Maybe their idea of enemy and mistreatment is extremely tame considered to what it is today, but I doubt it. Unironically, pedophilia may not have been seen as bad back then as it is today, so one could argue that. But, death and torture holds some pretty negative stigma even for back then, as they used torture and death for the highest crimes even in the Bible. Extermination of a religion (as they showed jews attempting in the bible as they killed Jesus the prophet and persecuted his followers) was a thing back then - is that not hate? Is that not an enemy? Inb4 Jesus was a jew I know, but it's clear that someone coming out as a prophet and becoming so popular would create a new religious following, as not every single jew would assume he's the son of God.Now, do not get me wrong- I understand the importance of religion. I get some people need it, and it's much easier, maybe necessary, for raising kids. I realize it creates a community that's incredibly important in keeping people together. And I don't have an answer for what to replace that all with.

@Tepid_Tapir One thing I’ve been impressed with the TRS crowd for doing lately is advocating for activists to provoke the system into showing its true face. For example, some law is about to get passed that would achieve a good thing, perhaps a ban on trannies in sports. Our guys would advocate passing the thing and forcing the system to deny it because that delegitimizes the system and makes our position more sympathetic.Do you understand why I bring this up?This is the exact same thing that Christians are told to do to the evil people and wicked spirits of this world. Be righteous, be virtuous, and don’t stop being righteous and virtuous. Force the devil’s hand and make him and his ways and his people illegitimate in the eyes of others. Martyrdom is not a vice.

@FirebrandJay what law is that? Has it already passed or is it one of those feel-good bills that gets proposed and never goes further, or has a very useless meaning? Because I'm seeing the exact opposite happening with trannies. Laws aside, I'm seeing a social shift of taboos. You can't pass laws if you don't have the majority to back you up. And you will never have a majority if your team has so much evil and hatred brought down on them, and they are too whipped to fight back.I thought the original argument here was that I was interpreting it incorrectly and that the Bible is all about not enacting petty revenge. So I'm lost as to what subject we are on - are we concluding it's true the Bible says not to avenge evil, then? Otherwise the anecdote doesn't make sense here, as I would argue letting men beat on and steal women accomplishments not a petty quarrel but in fact an evil doing.

@Clarence_Oveur @FirebrandJay some I could see, but definitely not all. Christianity as a whole seems to be very castrated with their teachings, I just wish they had some bigger balls.Like I said I understand the importance of religion. I don't have another answer besides Christianity.

They ended up becoming builders, scribes, and academics because they weren't retarded and Semites wanted elements of civilization they themselves couldn't produce.

@Tepid_Tapir @FirebrandJay Friend do you remember when Jesus went into the temple and whipped the money changers and chased them away?Do you remember when Jesus promised that the temple would be destroyed, and then it was in 70 AD, and then again when it was being rebuilt in the 300s, He brought about an earthquake and destroyed it again? Do you remember after the Council of Nicaea, when Mr. Arius was allowed to receive the Eucharist again without repenting of his heretical beliefs, the priest at the mass prayed that God would either kill him or kill Mr. Arius, so he would not have to give him the communion. Then Mr. Arius died in the latrine just before mass. Do you remember when St. James miraculously appeared during a battle in Spain, and killed many of the muslims? Through this action he gained the title St. James Matamoros, which means Moorslayer in Spanish.Do you remember when the Virgin Mary appeared in the 1970s, and said that God would soon rain fire upon the earth, and it would be worse than the flood of Noah's day? That is actually another good point too. Jesus is the same God as the God of the Old Testament. The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was caused by God. The flood as well. So please think of these things friend, and tell me again how Jesus wishes for us to sit back and let our enemies destroy us without resistance. Thank you friend.

@COINCELPRO @FirebrandJay @Tepid_Tapir Yes it is actually a true event. She appeared to a blind woman in Akita, Japan, who miraculously regained her sight during this time. It is an approved apparition by the Church. There was another apparition at Fatima in the early 1900s, and about 70000 people witnessed the miracle of the sun there. The Virgin Mary left three secrets, and wanted the last one to be revealed in 1960, but the pope at the time withheld it, and even now they have not revealed the words that the Virgin Mary left for us with it. People who read the third secret say that the apparition at Akita is essentially the same message. There is also the apparition of Our Lady of Zeitoun, where somewhere between 300000 to 1 million people saw her. There are even some photographs. The government investigated for several miles in every direction trying to see if there was anything that could produce such an image, but they found nothing, and even the muslim president of Egypt had to admit it was a true apparition. The Church is full of miracles and prophecies. I would encourage you to look into them friend. Thank you friend.

@bebe @FirebrandJay But none of these actually refuted my point. My point being that Christianity and the New Testament asks us not to take drastic matters into our own hands, but instead to pray and turn the other cheek type of stuff. Be kind in the face of evil and pray for them.1) Jesus promised the temple to be destroyed, and Jesus destroyed it. That's not in the realm of 'do shit yourself, get your hands dirty', but in the realm of 'ask God to do it for you'2) The priest prayed for god to do something, he did not do it himself. God did it.3)God created the situation, and I'm also not sure if st james would even be considered a normal ass human at that point(I'm catholic mind you)4) Another God promiseNone of these stories end with the moral being to take such an action yourself, we are literally sitting back and praying and God takes it into his hands. I guess the closest might be the first one because at least that includes people, but the moral of the story was that it was an act of God. My main gripe here is that the teachings and the morals are not to do evil to evil people, that you just wait for God to do it. This sounds like an amazing way to make a subservient religion. And let's not forget all the verses in the bible teaching us to be compassionate and kind to the evil that wants to rape our daughters and castrate our sons and see us killed.Keep in mind friend, I understand religion is important in civilization and needed to uphold a community, and I can't really think of anything much better than Christianity. I'm just upset at this feeling like I'm constantly being preached to sit back and trust the plan. 🙏

The only miracle is how retarded they sound. And that's not a photo, that's an illustration. There are no photos of the event. Some people claim seeing shit and others repeated seeing shit.
