May be completely offline today..just got a text from the apt complex. They are going to be shutting the elec off to our building today because they are rewiring the entire building (all apts in my building)They said elec will be off all day.They are going to be doing one entire building a day.Idiots arent good at planning-they pick the hottest month of the year to do this crap.In Texas,smdh. sighhh

@Dawnz When I lived in a complex they came through and replaced all of aluminum wiring with copper where it came into the breaker box.Maybe you getting the same treatment

@EarlThePearls yep!!! and it seems whatever they are doing is none of our buisness. They cant even manage to fix my AC.Going on 2 weeks now.New property managers.In the last 2 weeks, they replaced fuse boxes, pest control,Water shut off for repairs/replacement,saftey inspections..on and on

@cimarron @EarlThePearls @cimarron thanks, I agree..and Earl made sense thinking maybe its switching to copper I just went out there on the pretext of walking Ms Jasmine.I asked them..So,what exactly are ya all doing? Are we getting new meters or is this some new system.Guy mumbled something that sounded like no not new meters..I did notice its copper wire they are using. Came inside told roomy, and said..your turn..handed him a different doxi to walk 😂

@Dawnz I knew all of the on site maintenance and the two office people. They tended to be friendly and communicative.When contractors would come through I would straight up ask them what was going on.In a polite and non confrontational wayAlways managed to get the scoop@cimarron

@John_S you are absolutely right. I wasnt sure exactly WHAT they were going to,lol..The text we got was very vague.Everything they did was done in a small "room" on the outside of each building. (each building has one)4 upstairs and 4 downstairs apts on each side of the building

@Kegstr I agree..its bad enough they havent fixed the AC..We are now going into week 2 with no AC in a one bdm apt with only one window in the apt,(roomys room,I sleep in the livingroom) and a sliding glass door in the livingroom which we really dont use due to having a sidewalk running along the sliding glass door.(privacy issue)
