@ndegruchy The US is... not good, but, like, there are actual autocracies out there and they're primarily being held back by American influence. I'd rather the US lead the world order than China. (I'd rather neither, or that one or the other get a hell of a lot better, but refusing to choose because it's "the lesser of two evils" is just leaving open an oppotunity for the greater of two evils.)

@ndegruchy I think the US has the most opportunity to improve of any superpower, plus being moderately better currently. The US could be actually good, but a lot of stuff needs to be fixed and made right.The fact that we have an anti-fact, anti-policy, anti-society minority party and a majority party with no spine does not make it easier.
