       @redwhitebluedude @scottgfx @DebradelaiI remember the 2CV with its soft top, like having a convertible without having money to own a convertible and a a blessing during the hot summer months.My dad owned a BX for a few years, great car. I still dream of owning a DS sometime.

       @masterblaster @scottgfx @redwhitebluedude I don't thing one can know for sure without trying. I had three beetles, 58, 59 and 82, and two 2CV.The Citroen was cheaper to run, had way less mechanical issues, and roomier. Both did well on the road as long as I had tailwinds, and the 2CV was the ultimate beach beast.

       @Debradelai @scottgfx @redwhitebluedude Don Saul, the VW I had some experience actually driving. The 2CV was a either as a non driving kid or a passenger. So, I came from a poison of ignorance and a level of bias. The 2CV is a neat machine and I learned something good in the process.
