@thor @alex Soapbox Red and Soapbox Blue, like Pokemon. People keep asking for more emoji reacts so Red can get half of them and Blue can get the other half, so if you're on Soapbox Red and want to do a sad emoji react you need to get a friend on Soapbox Blue to do it for you first then you can add another one. It's like trading pokemon, but with emoji.

@alex @ademan @galena @thor I can't wait to try groups.It would be nice if all the indie game studios got an instance to help mainstream fedi. I think your adult filter will be great for sites like mine that are also tied to a business. I seriously can't follow some people to avoid their two dozen daily lewds showing in the federated timeline.

@alex @galena @thor yeah unfortunately that’s just not compelling for most end users, and in effect it results in fairly awkward discovery of, and interaction with remote users until someone on your instance follows them.I suppose fedi’s meta-“gimmick” is federation, allowing experimentation and new features.
