@drawandstrike There was some security footage released showing the collapse happen, and I didn't see anything resembling an explosion in the video. At least an obvious one.

@drawandstrike Read an article that stated that a resident trying to escape, found the basement area flooded. Could have been a water main break, but more likely, it’s a sinkhole.

@drawandstrike Brian, one couple that got out said they made it to the basement and it was filling with water. We will have to wait and see I guess. One photo shows the parking lot separated from the building at there is a pretty large gap of darkness.

@EarlThePearls @drawandstrike Most of the buildings there are 1970-1990.Nearly all had to undergo structural reinforcement in the past 10 years.There is something there. Next-door new construction rattling hardly seems relevant for hurricane-proof structures.

@drawandstrike Not seeing any explosive type damage there just looks like shear(force in two non aligned directions) causing cutting and friction abrasion on and against the still standing part when the part that failed came down and ground itself into rubble and what got sheared is sagging and distorted.

@drawandstrike There’s a video online video taken from inside one of the apartments. The lady who lived there was out of town and always leaves the camera on when she’s gone. You can see the place shimmy and plaster dust fall in front of the camera for a few seconds then it goes black.
