       #Amerikkka has power over many TLDs because authority of those domain extensions (like Verisign over dot com), are based in #USA. They don't ask the registrar, they go to the authority, and the authority complies.

       @arh @GNUxeava Political censorship is always unjust, but attacking the character of all free speech activists because there wasn't mass outrage over a niche scandal is also unjust.but you won't see free speech activists bat an eye because it does not fit their propagandafree speech until someone says something I don't like.There are hordes of incoherent morons trying to destroy freedom of speech. They are not sane. They constantly compare the real flawed society around them with a fictional ideological paradise. Their imaginary utopia is so good and so free that any human right is worth sacrificing. "Sure, we'll have to burn some books or censor people or kill people, but in paradise there won't be any prisons or wars so it'll be worth it." Unfortunately, improving society is an unending problem and the impatient reactionary will never stop throwing human rights and lives away.The "No one ever brings up free speech except when it's convenient, so free speech is garbage!" shtick is annoying and wrong.
