@bugaevc iOS compatible hardware is mostly Apple hardware You have one supplier only, of course it's easier 🤷♂️ And then many printers docus mention windows and MacOsLinux ?Eh, noYou have to consult endless obscure web sites filled to the brink with inhumane acronyms hunting for compatibility listsThere is no "LinuxSupported" label anywhere, as far as I can see

@bugaevc i went to one of those huge malls, the most inhuman thing I can think of and there were several printers on the shelvesMy father eyed a printer he'd likeIt costs 60 euros, it's a "multifunction", meaning it is a scanner and a printer in the same bodyIt's wirelessIt ships with software for Windows and MacOsIs it linux compatible ?I spent a few hours on line and I still can't say thatI'm frustrated beyond believeOf course it's harder

@bugaevc @AbbieNormal Well MacOS could have additional drivers available.AirPrint-compatible printers do not need additional drivers, just barebones CUPS works.
