The phone arrived and I discovered it's one of the non supported models from /e/.It's a SM-G965U1Can't find anything on the /e/ community forum and I have no willing/time to brick it.Any alternative before I send it back?I might keep it anyway because imo it was a decent deal <200$ refurbished but really looks brand new.#ungoogle

@gianf I literally JUST flashed /e/ to a "tinker" phone, yesterday. I ordered a OnePlus 6T for trying some alternative ROMs. I will say, /e/ OS is pretty clean and peppy. Then again, the phone is a pretty solid machine, as well. It's hard to shake a stick at 8GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 845...it's like a handheld laptop. If you end up sending it back and are looking for a good alternative, I'd suggest a OP6T. It was roughly $135, on Ebay.

@cooper Thanks a lot for your suggestion.I've never owned an OP phone but it seems they have good specs while being not too expensive.I'll check OP once I send this back.Thank you!

@gianf You're welcome. I'm very impressed and happy with it. Once I land on a ROM, I'll be moving to it as my main phone.

@cooper BTW, is it fast enough?In my case I'm searching for my main phone.I'm not interested in games or super fast experience but I don't want to wait half a second or more for basic operations (click on a text box and wait for the keyboard to pop up).

@gianf Well, it has the same processor as the Galaxy that you are sending back but, it has 2 more gigs of RAM. 😜

@gianf just flash an AOSP build and microg yourself. You can get them exact same functionality of /e/ without even using them, it just takes a little more time setting things up yourself.
