@tengumatingpress @alcyone I think the biggest thing for me in the acme vs vim comparison is RSI worries coupled with "sometimes I'll be stuck on computers which have only touchpads". I know drawterm on Macs implements control code shortcuts to simulate mouse chording but I'm not sure if those extend to 9front's drawterm fork under Linux or plan9port on any platform

@allison oh i forgot to mention that i use doom emacs, which adds modal editing (so you can preserve your family’s honor) among other features.my intuition tells me that you’d be turned off by the amount of config wrestling it takes to get emacs to do some things, but i might be wrong.
