@mikeI haven't found yet a keyboard with a #dvorak layout ... Do the keycaps have the same shape and could be moved easily ?So far @tuxedocomputers is the only one to provide a Dvorak layout ... But only on laptops π

@hyde I have an ergodox with sculpted key caps (so no printed characters on it) and type in dvorak and it's been working pretty well for me!Also, you could order an ergodox with printed keycaps and swap them around like you want to (I don't know about other keyboards, but the printed keycaps for the ergodox are made to be swappable).Maybe you could find something used as well, most mechanical keycaps are standard and can be swapped easily, the only problem is the slant.

@kev Cherry Silent Blacks. I almost went with the 60%, but I find that I really like the dedicated arrow keys and the PgUp PgDn. I really missed those about a 60%.

@Naughtylus @hyde The keycaps on this keyboard LOOK uniform to the naked eye, though I've heard that's not the case. I didn't find a set of keycaps specific to this keyboard for a dvorak layout. Of course, blanks are always an option, or something custom.

@mike That does look cool! Would you ever consider making your own keyboard?

@thegnuguy I thinking building my own keyboard would be a cool project, but right now it's in the "Cool projects I don't have time for" tray, which is starting to overflow.

@hyde @mike @tuxedocomputers Hi, those who use Dvorak and get used to it how do manage using a laptop given by jobs?

@ggarronHi, I have a keyboard KB paradise configured with Dvorak with some stickers because the shape werent the same. For laptops, I just use dvorak on regular laptop keyboards. If I can use my personal laptop, I already have everything with my @tuxedocomputers @mike @tuxedocomputers

@hyde @mike @tuxedocomputers if you're able to remap your keyboard in some way and want to have the physical layout match, having uniform keycaps is going to be your best bet. Try finding DSA or XDA caps (if you don't mind shelling out big bucks for secondary market caps, KAM is another option)

@U_Mage @mike @tuxedocomputers for now it's good on my side ... plus I'm using dvorak for two years now and got used to the layout. But for a newbie it can be difficult ...

@hyde oh!I forgot to say that you don't really build it yourself, you can get it pre-assembled from drop.com, otherwise, you assemble it yourself, like legos
