@jeremiah Well Adobe CC pays for all my other bills, so that's staying. But technically it's the company account. Amazon Prime is the only one I've got. I paid Disney+ to watch the Mandalorian, then canceled. Tidal and Roon aren't on the list so that's only 1.5 total sins for me. I'll now say 5 Hail Marys and 2 Our Fathers.

@jeremiah neither can be considered without the other.Content is important when it is not controlled through manipulation. Dismantle the manipulated control, and you - potentially - enable control over the content.Disable the content, and you don’t necessarily change the control. It’s like chemotherapy in the hopes you “only” kill the cancer. If all you do is kill healthy cells, you completely fucked up.

Someone who chose to shut it off for the most part, give or take some youtubers.From my perspective, it's like alcoholics justifying their consumption: there's no justification for the distribution system or the content produced with the current commercial distribution mechanisms and market success by their measure in mind.Distribution has as much power as it does people who think paying them is a good idea.

@jeremiah we aren’t post-media. We’re the 1%, actually. Your analogy is backwards. You figured out how, but it isn’t viable for everyone to go cold turkey. Encourage people to get off cable TV with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Disney+, etc. It’s a gateway to get them off distribution (Cable TV and satellite).Once they’re off distribution, *then* go after content. Content is still in flux. You still have companies like Disney fucking up with wokeness. But Disney+ is chump change vs ESPN.
