       @metalune I recently wrote a post about making the Esperanto flag in CSS. Imagine the tiny subset of people appealed by this: 1) readers of my log who are also 2) interested in Esperanto and 3) interested in CSS.And someone emailed me with suggested improvements! That email conversation was wonderful; just a moment to gleefully converse around a topic so esoteric and nonsensical. A highlight of three days, as we discussed it to and fro.

       @cage exactly, you don't need a built-in chat for a site, use IRC, use XMPP, use SMTP/IMAP, use whatever the fuck you want, but keep the site to only dispaly the information.
