@ned She was actually messaging me in a badly-spelled dialect* that I don't speak. I only made out the names.I hate* it when people message me with lazy* spelling.I mn wat fun s it 2 read sumthing typed lyk dis?Sadly it's very common among Filipinos. And it's got nothing to do with their level of education.

@evelynyap it's so weird because stopped typing messages like that when t9 dictionary was invented. Back in the Nokia 5110 days. With spell check on most keyboards it's faster to just type it out normally than use short hand.
