@Jaime If the people serving the soup call it "Chowdah", you have a strong likelihood of it being in the top 5% of Clam Chowders available for purchase.Down south where they pronounce their "R's" at the end of the words, I think most chowders are made beside a jar of clams and none of the aquatic life makes it to the soup. But we make a mean Brunwick Stew down south so we have our strong points as well. "Chowdah" is not one of them south of the Mason Dixon.

@Jaime 😂... that should cool her down... Family can be a pain in the arse sometimes, aside from my immediate family and in laws, there is a good 500 miles between us ...
