Learning H-Ryougi, this really is just C-Ryougi but better.No unblockables>You lose reverse dp monke flip for a counter series.>Knife is a way better tool all around. 22C seems mad good.>No 6C, you get 4C and 3C instead. 4C is a standing overhead (she needs it holy shit) and 3 is another sweep.>No more custom combo, instead you have another knife throw series on 63214. Seems like it has similar use to monke flip.Its gonna be nice actually having some pressure and mix for once, if you didn’t burn meter and knife with C-Ryougi you would just go back to neutral after one blockstring, unless you wanted to take risks with 2C -> A/2A rebeat pressure and hope they dont know how to deal with it.Best part? Basically all my old C-moon combos still work, so if I auto-pilot on accident i’ll be fine.

@tengumatingpress 6 frame startup, 6 active frames, might as well be a half-screen disjoint with how far he fucking flies if he dashes beforehand. I hate that button so much. Ryoog will probably be DLC, Nasu loves to put her in literally everything (for good reason). I really want Aoko as well, already got one of my old characters (F-Seifuku) in might as well ask for all three lol.

@Vsolid They have a good track record, I just hope they aren't taking any advice from ASW.Incidentally, ever play Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax: Ignition? Apparently some fans gave that rollback, but I've slept on it and I'm not sure how it is.

@tengumatingpress Sadly I haven't because the client doesn't want to cooperate with my PC. The implementation wasn't as smooth as Melty Blood but at least its there.My uneducated take on DBFC is that its probably the most kusoge of french bread's games, but thats a good thing. From the tiny bit I got to play (never online) it felt like if Undernight was a pseudo-tag fighter. Pretty neat. If I got it to work I'd play Rentaro. Best part of DBFC is you get to beat the shit out of kiketo and his whore wife.

@neon_course There isn't really an exact shoto style in Melty, but F-Aoko is the most similar moveset wise. Incredibly versatile character with really good frame data, 2 airdashes (unique trait), and really disgusting mix with meter. Her 214C is +72 on block. Essentially a rushdown.If you mean like the basic quintessential Melty character, either of the Shiki's (Nanaya, Tohno Shiki). Tohno is a neutral monster and Nanaya plays rock paper scissors off of one knockdown for the rest of the game.

@neon_course @Vsolid I'd recommend H-KohaMech, that character is just braindead, has like one combo, spikeball is absurdly good.C-Seifuku Akiha is also a good beginner character, like H-KohaMech she has one combo but it's a little more difficult. Her mixup game is absurdly good once you master that one combo that carries your opponent to the corner from fullscreen though.

@neon_course Basically Aoko can do this if you block Blue Fire (you might have been better getting hit). Couldnt find a better clip in my folder so I had to quickly record a shitty version. Basically do any blockstring into blue fire, two completely safe high-low mixups for the cost of 100 meter AND its still your turn.I havent played F-Aoko in a while since I've been trying to learn Ryougi so this is kinda sloppy.
