@Lemonhead @JM clover is great companion/cover crop because it has the ability to fixate nitrogen from the air and when it dies it’s free plant food. That’s why is a great companion Plant.

@Lemonhead Mine are getting eaten alive by Japanese beetles. It's the 1st time I've grown them and had no idea those things love zinnias. Everyday after work has become a search and destroy mission. I leave the bodies where they lay. Gotta put the traps out tomorrow once I find the bait refills.
