Weird thing about crows and owls- they fucking hate each other. It's in their DNA, even if they've just met for first time- they will choose violence.

In the night the owl has the advantage, nocturnal, silent. The solitary hunter can kill his victims while they sleep. They'll eat their young, decapitate their heads to eat their brains out.

During the day, the crow gets his revenge. A coordinator, and strategist. He works in teams, communicates well to hunt and destroy his enemy.

The reason for this rivalry is fairly simple, the owl will kill anyone. He views all other predatory birds as a threat to his own existence. Even hawks and eagles aren't safe from his nightly attacks.

@Atlas_Khan @RealRaul @Wormwood Ohhh. Are crows some sort of symbol of retribution? I'm thinking of the 90s movie in pic related but I'm also thinking of the autistic lore in Dark Souls that links crows to Velka, Goddess of Sin, who exists to punish the guilty.

@Wormwood one rainy day I saw a pair of crows relentlessly cawing at an owl in the middle of the day a few months ago. I thought it was an odd sight to see, especially after an hour or so went by and all 3 were still locked in their same positions. Owl looked miserable, but then again it's a bird so how would I know?
