       Punitive behavior isn't good regardless if you think it is punitive or not, it's not on you to decide what is punitive, it is on the receiving end to decide that, if they say that they feel punished, you are inflicting the harm on them.In general you shouldn't inflict harm on people unless there is no other way around that.

       @cummies @Zia if your goal is actually to maintain a healthy community you really need to judge rehabilitation efforts based on material evidence like "are they stopping harmful patterns of behavior" etc

       @cummies @Zia it's why i am post-civ which is a philosophy that causes as many problems as it solves but feels like a good starting point and feels surprisingly actionable to me in the day-to-day (for me anyway)
