They would mostly be sequestered away in their Shires. It would mostly be settlements in the borderlands like Bree where they would live alongside eachother, it would be very rare. I've outright stated that I don't like human-elf marriages being common in fantasy, that they should be kept mostly very separate. Not just because it makes zero sense, but because I am the Grand Chief of Elf Respecters and it degrades the Elf, they get the short end of the stick. @14point88niggawatts There'll definitely be some of that, but I'm talking about general animal population levels. In the Great Depression they nearly hunted deer into extinction, even squirrels were nearly impossible to find, and they wound up having to eat bark off the trees.Who knows if it'll get that bad again but it's definitely not impossible.
