Just heard about a classmate from school. He died of COVID early this month. His family couldn't admit him into ICU due to lack of bed. We were thick back in school but lost touch gradually. A nerd that I knew even before I knew the word nerd. I was thinking about him just last week over a silly joke about computers and shoes and temple and how he opted for Computer Science when the rest of us opted for Biology in 11th grade. Random memories with him just keeps popping up.

@thumb I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Even if you hadn't spoken in a while that loss has to be difficult if you were close. Keeping you and his family in my thoughts.

@thumb aahh, sorry man, that’s sad stuff. I experienced the same when two different friends passed away in the recent few years. Random memories popping up, lots of stuff I nearly forgot about. Sad but also nice to remember good times shared with some unique awesome ppl.

@thumb Sorry for your lost. I lost a cousin because of covid two months ago approximately, that's why it piss me off when someone denies the existence of virus because I find disrespectful for people who lost someone because of it. This virus could be much more dangerous than many people think.

@thumb right? it’s actually uncanny to me the things I’m recalling that were so seemingly trivial. I guess it’s a good way to keep that friend with you always (and honestly it’s helped me learn more from them, by reinterpreting old things they said in a new light because I’m older and theoretically wiser now). dunno, either way I feel for you and understand. good wishes/energy being sent your way 🌸☀️
