@search_social @Counter_Cementic Fun fact: the origin of the word “family” is “familus” which is Latin for servant or slave. Families were so named because in the ultracapitalist late Roman state, a man had full rights to sell, torture or murder his wife and children. They were his untaxed private property. Most people ended up in debt slavery because of this, as their fathers were pressured to sell them to repay unpayable debts. Adult male debt slaves of course had all rights to sell, torture and murder their wife and children granted to their owners.

@adlib @search_social @Counter_Cementic Oh sure, it’s not like it’s the Romans were disgustingly sexist or anything. No I’m just imposing my sexist agenda on their beautiful, egalitatian culture that truely was the height of civilization. When I say “Most people ended up in debt slavery” I clearly mean to cruelly exclude men from this, since we all agree men are not people.…All women in Ancient Rome were slaves. The majority of slaves being worked to death were men, some from kidnapping men from surrounding communities and declaring they lost so they have to be their slaves now. Others from enslaving each other, since despite this ugly state enforced tyranny giving them power over their family, all these “fathers” also had fathers. Any father whose father was forced to sell him into debt slavery had no power at all, and that means most men. Nepotism swiftly shitted all over that, until all the power was in the hands of only a few patricians, i.e. the patriarchy. At least that’s how I understand the formation of the Roman State.

@adlib Alas, I have so much intelligence in me that people will accuse me of thinking with my genitals and pulling ideas out of my ass.

@adlib I know I shouldn’t even be responding to you, but I just wish I could show you how you’re defending yourself from people who aren’t even attacking you. I don’t know what hurt you so bad it got you trying to find secret malice in literally everything I’m writing for some reason, but I’m sorry you had to go through that. Sounds like you’ve been having a pretty rotten time.
