Why I'm leaning toward shelving it is that almost everyone stopped using the site all at once. I don't know why that's the case, but like, I'm on the hardware I am so I can handle high-capacity media. If my active usership goes from 15 down to 2 overnight and no one is uploading anything, I'm just not going to do it. There are other options that don't cost me valuable money and time.

@admin@def.social Would have said something sooner but I missed it in the timeline. I could donate more (I think I'm at 10 a month or 30 once a month, I forget how it pulls it out) but it I figure it doesn't make sense for you to spend your time running a server for one guy. If it is too much of a drain on your time/resources I say unplug it. I think you've been doing a fine job and don't regret supporting the experiment. All I'd ask is if there isn't a way to mass-grab all my post's so I can repost them on gab for content. They get sloppy seconds.
