They will seek sponsorship deals from companies like IBM, channel those deals through their pocket NGO, make sure there's no accountability, and syphon it to the side through various mechanisms established in the NGO world. Then they'll enter into a bitter contest with the old Freenode for the title of the most woke and thus most deserving of the rich green harvest for D&I money.

@Moon Oh yeah, you mentioned you liked anecdotes. So, not being an IRC junkie I wasn't into the scandal with the financing the OPN and all that. However, I actually met Lilo once. He was most known for marrying an 18-year-old. They came to a local Linux User Group meeting, with the baby in the rucksack carrier. Really an inspiration for neckbeards everywhere. Unfortunately, he died less than a year later. @shmibs
