Wyatt thread actually got me thinking. The latest trend is the trans one. And many are aghast “has everyone gone mad?! Men can’t be women!”This from the same people who currently believe blacks & Whites are basically the same except pigment, really. Not an original take but there it is. Trans wasn’t the test of “what crazy shit can we make people believe?” Blacks were.

Slightly related take on immigration: “we had the same fears about the Germans & the Irish & the Poles & they all assimilated eventually, so will the Mexicans.”Blacks are the counter example. 400 years & still completely different. Also: those original claims are slightly misleading. There are still statistical gaps in even European ethnicities. So yea: given the black example, you can see the fear that *maybe* the Mexicans won’t ultimately fit right in. Cause the former never really has. So it is possible (likewise say the Chinese in a very different way tho, potentially)

@Selimseesyou In my humble experience: Here in the Southwest, the Mexicans do not fit in, they force other communities to fit in their culture. Most refuse to even learn English, and when they work it's shoddy quality. They've turned a lot of our cities that were once amazing into little sonoras: overcrowded, crime skyrocketing. Not as scary as what we have seen with Blacks, but if they represent the new America, it's going to feel like their border towns. Asians, at least mostly east Asians and Filipinos on the other hand have been more assimilating, because of just general appreciation and respect for whites, and their culture. True, they keep their identity, but most groups fit in well, speak english proficiently, and do amazing work.The reason why there were fears for some Europeans was due to the brother conflicts. They assimilated over time because they saw the importance of solidarity via racial identity. But that identity vis a vis blacks and mexicans, it has fared badly. Not to disagree, but to share my point.

@Selimseesyou Females entering the workplace and schools/academia is also a very large one. The idea that men and women have different specialties and roles in society was something well understood, but as technology progressed there was less of a need to rely on those qualities alone anymore.The idea that "women can do nearly everything men can!" when talking about the average man and woman, not outliers, is what hastened the cult of equality.

Given the numbers, they can and will speak their native languages, import their native organized crime, and be downright hostile to whites.I know this because I've been to areas where you can't get service if you don't speak Korean.

When I went to places like Koreatown, they treated me like a foreigner for not speaking our tongue.Actually too, I want to just also humbly say that what I also notice is a growing solidarity with the three racial groups because they greatly dislike whites. But in majority non whites, there is lots of tension.
