@sheogorath I can't see the view for the monitors. 😞 We get the sun in the back garden during the morning and it's too bright, so I tend to open the blind in the PM.

@kev @ndanes I also have the standing desk with the two screens (mines are 27'') with this arm, I think is the best setup.

@kev @ndanes how's that ergo mouse? I tried a cheap one worth 10AUD and it was just as painful to use as a regular mouse. I've found and adapted a trackball so I can keep my hand perpendicular to the desk and it's much more comfy, but I skipped trying a more expensive ergo.

@kev @sheogorath Same with me, my home setup is right in front of a window, which gets too bright for me to even see anything on my monitors during day time, so I just blocked them for good.

@screenbeard it's excellent! This is a cheap one from Amazon too, but it's really good. I have one in the office too. I don't get any pain with it.This is the one I have - https://amzn.to/3orEapV@ndanes

@kev I got this one https://www.kmart.com.au/product/ergonomic-wireless-mouse/2886852 and it looks identical and I hated it. I guess my wrist issue is just different from yours. Maybe I should see a doctor.@ndanes

@screenbeard yup, will have been made in the same factory I imagine. If you're not a lefty, like me, I've heard great things about the Logitech M570, but it's only available for right-handed folk.

@screenbeard @kev @ndanes I switched to a Thinkpad external keyboard with a touchpoint and an ergonomic layout. No more wrist pain. At first I only changed keyboard layout but the pain didn't disappear fully. Switching to the touchpoint took care of the rest. :)

@kev @ndanes so if the aquarium breaks, your computer gets flooded?

@kev @screenbeard That's (almost) the one. I used this one: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories-and-monitors/keyboards-and-mice/keyboards/KEYBOARD-US-English/p/0B47190The one I'm refferring to has a slightly different controller which can be hacked to switch "Fn" and "Ctrl" keys. If that's important to you, I wrote up the details of the modifications here: https://github.com/lentinj/tp-compact-keyboard/issues/32#issuecomment-687659110

@derp if the aquarium breaks, I have much more important things to worry about than my computer. Like the survival of the fish within it, and a general flood of the house.@ndanes
