Strangely ...for the past several weeks I've noticed more and more people shopping in Kroger sans masks. Thinking it's about time, I definitely viewed this as a positive trend. Then, after the morons at the CDC announced we no longer NEED to wear masks in most places, what do you think Kroger did?If you guessed they plastered HUGE RED SIGNS MANDATING MASK WEARING you'd be correct. Will the insanity ever cease?

@selah18 the ONLY reason masks are required where I live is because of businesses mandating them.

@Lonestar IMHO, individual businesses will continue to make mask mandate policies due to potential liability.

@charlino - you may be right. IIRC, both Trump and Gov. Abbott strongly recommended legislation to stop liability claims against businesses. I don't believe any laws were forthcoming, though.
