As a user I found it enjoyable in some ways and unpleasant in others, mostly due to the lack of moderation. I guess it's a hard thing to balance, and every site ought to have the right to choose their own standards, but personally I find some things are too alienating to otherwise worthy contributors, and I'd probably include calls for suicide within that. People are just going to find ways around the filters anyway, better to place the owness on the user to block people rather than the admin. Though I could understand an admin stepping because of something like a mass spam attack i suppose. Never admin'd for the fediverse so I'm not really sure. A lot of times too, the children who can't consent to hormone therapy have their parents consent for them. Not only that, but people born with autism who aren't fully self aware are dragged into this.This damages their mental and physical development. It can lead to a lot of problems for them once they become fully self aware, and it can prevent them from starting families down the road as well. A great example of this, albeit a more gruesome one, is the John Money Experiment. I highly recommend researching it. It's depressing, but it illustrates the truth that you can never change what you're born as. It's better to accept who you are and live your best life, rather than live a lie that destroys your body, mind, and spirit.

I learned this the hard way when I was a teenager and tried to help people who were suicidal on an old social media site. They simply drown in their thoughts of despair. It's absolutely exhausting and fruitless.And because gender dysphoria is a mental illness, the ones who truly have gender dysphoria and not the ones faking it, can't grasp the fact that they'll never be the opposite gender. They need professional help from psychiatrists,. In our current state of affairs though, the government, media, and mainstream psychiatry only enable them and give them foreign hormones, making their condition worse. They'll suffer less, and everyone around them will suffer less, if they simply died.
