@eris Yeah, but I don't like making it *the* thing about my personality. I was like that for a long time and fixating on politics all the time alienates potential friends on the other "side," and kills the soul.

@nerdman @icedquinn @eris I'm not condoning self-censorship per-say, I'm rather open about being a politically dissident homosexual libertarian so that would be somewhat hypocritical of me; what I'm saying is more that that shouldn't be my "personality," a person is more than the sum of their parts, so to speak.Plus, as has been mentioned in the thread already, it just gets exhausting, and people sometimes need a break.
