       armed civilian revolution against a modern military would never work, so the way i see it:more small left-wing candidates get elected and people see the benefits. socialism gets more popular, more candidates, and it builds up from there. any power they gain is pushed hard towards healthcare, unionization, co-ops, and reducing military/imperial power. with less imperial pressure, there are revolts in the global south, places with a weaker state apparatus.        (2/2) these revolts are also more likely to be successful with reduced foreign military presence. this sparks more revolts, and the chain of production extracting cheap labor from these countries is destabilized, so the colonizer nations are too. this is when revolution can happen, at which point mutual aid networks, community protection groups, etc are vital. hopefully by then there will be enough leadership to bring up a left-wing answer to the power vacuum from there.

       @chemelia "the global south" had revolts and coup d'etats BECAUSE OF foreign military presence, we are not animals, we can hold elections. Why is it that in your future the "global north" has elections but the south has violent uprisings... In fact the "global south" was the first to elect a communist in liberal democracy until the north sparked the revolts :).We don't need revolts, we need for the big countries to stop meddling with our politics.

       @furtivo @chemelia what we need is for a MENvolution.  in the MENvolution we restore patriarchy to its natural place and round up all loose females (those not under the protection of a father or husband) into brothel camps where they are compelled to serve the needs of sexually underprivileged men.
