@ThreeOneThreeChris Yet people that have on say the books a new house build, are losing out on the cost difference when they've had an estimator go in and quote that shit. Once it's quoted, it can't be changed. That's the reality facing a lot of builders right now. Not to mention the trades that rely on being subcontractors for builders. It's all going to have a tumble effect and not in a good way. An example of where record low interest rates and continued highest level lending and borrowing from first home owners and investors with current dwellings wanting to upgrade their shit. Covid just fuelled the fire, basically. People can't capitalise on losing capital though ;)I'd much rather see house foreclosures than businesses. We're not prepared to lose the booming housing markets, at the cost of protective measures to offset the inevitable. Hello a repeat of the Nigger foof KFC, GFC of 2008 will look like a candy cane in comparison.

@rasterman Same as everywhere else — the government borrows money from itself which it doesn’t have, prints more cash and puts it into circulation, which causes the value of the dollar goes down and drives the price of everything up.
