@watch4thedrop @Jaime I don't even like taking Tylenol. I don't get the flu shot, because it's not a guarantee . I have a healthy immune system. I also believe I had Covid last February before they were testing. My son too.

@Estherwilnot kinda missing the point here. it's normal to get vaccinated for diseases with high survival rates. because death is not the only negative effect of these diseases. hospitalizations for example. Would you rather get hospitalized and breathe from a ventilator for 2-4 weeks missing work and your family freaking out over whether you will be ok, or just get a vaccine? Choice should be easy.

@watch4thedrop Difference between proven vaccines and emergency trials. The more the government wants to give me something, the more I don't want it. Also there's a difference between a mandate and voluntary. I've never had the seasonal flu. Only ever had flu shots while in nursing school, decades ago. I played in dirt as a kid :)

@Estherwilnot No such thing as emergency trials. they went through the same testing(phase 1-3) before approval. and yes it does seem like the only way people will take their vaccines is if it's mandated as a price of entry to do something. The human psyche is fascinating.

@Estherwilnot there are also many meds for all the other diseases you get vaccinated for. valtrex for shingles, zovirax for varicella, entecavir for hepatitis B, tamiflu for flu. You take the vaccine in order to prevent the disease and in case it is not effective, you have the treatments to back you up. that's how it works.

@Jaime @watch4thedrop Yes, mine was hormone fed. But I had an IUD d/t heavy menses. So I haven't had one in over 3 years because of that, so I wouldn't have known. I found the walnut sized lump in my breast in December. There's a link to breast cancer and the Mirena. When my radiologist/Oncologist found out I had the Mirena, she said "I want that out."

@watch4thedrop so my point is why get something that's not guaranteed? I would rather not put a foreign substance in my body. If I get it, then treat it. I am.almost 100% sure I had it Feb 2020. I missed one day of work. Couldn't taste or smell.for 10 days. Had headaches alleviated with Motrin. SOB for a couple of months, a non productive cough. No big deal.

@watch4thedrop @ro_Fi A majority of the people I know, were never hospitalized. My neighbor had it last June. His elderly MIL, wife and kids never caught it. They live together. Im speaking from what I know, not what I hear. A friend of mine had it last month. They gave her an IV med, sent her home with Pulmicort. She was fine and angry after a few days because she had to quarantine.
