Trans id'd people have to know we're laughing at them, right? That when we hear them speak, we make eye contact with other people in a "youre hearing this too, right?" way. That we shoot eachother coy smiles when they're out of eye sight, and even if someone calls them their incorrectly sexed pronouns, the moment they leave, that person uses the right ones.I have several "TWAW" friends. They wouldnt laugh to a trans persons face, but they absolutely laugh when their backs are turned. "She can take hormones, but nothing is going to fix those man hands." "She kept trying to go to the bathroom in groups, saying that's 'what girls do'. What the fuck?" Both things I've heard from hardcore libfems, laughing and mocking the tranny's voice once hes no linger present.Even my dad, whos said "what someone does to their own body isnt my business" sent me a video of "Fallon" fox getting the shit beat out of him and said "LOL this is what chesters deserve!!"Every libfem I know has laughed and mocked the "ITS MA'AM" gamestop guy - my groupchat sent memes of him for WEEKS.And these are progressives. People who voted against trump, who support LGBT+.These are the real tranny allies, lol. People who mock you behind closed doors, and treat you with toddler gloves when you try to join regular society. We dont view you as real men or real women or "something in between". We view you as an adult with a sever disorder that needs to be coddled and shushed until the tantrum is over.Even their biggest supporters, their biggest "allies" know the truth. The trannies have to know too, right? They have to know that everyone is laughing at them.

@maiden I'm not laughing at anyone as a group. (Mr. IT'S MA'AM will never not be funny though.)Mostly I feel bad that people have been lead to think there is some kind of quick fix or escape from mental discomfort beyond the extremely difficult and long process of learning to accept and love yourself. I am angry about children who are being hurt and mislead. I find it relatable in some ways. I wish I was a math genius. I wish I was 6' tall. I wish the things that hurt on my body don't. I have to play the hand I'm dealt. I'm angry that people are basically being experimented on, and unlike ye old bad ideas such as lobotomies and foot binding, transworld is having a ripple effect. Some rights are pie and they can be used up and given away. In the meantime, I will fight to hold our rights and protect children.

@Gelatinousrube kids are a different story, id like to think. A trans identifying child is usually just a GNC gay kid who has homophobic parents. That gets all of my sympathy.But it's the adult men wearing ridiculous clothes & getting comically large breast implants that make even TRA allies laugh. Its the TIFs who are 5'1" threatening to punch terfs that make them laugh. Like, how are you gonna reach me all the way down there, lol. Its less "laughing because its funny" and more "laughing because everyone but this person is in on the joke". Im just saying their "cis allies" arent allies lol. @maiden I’ve participated in jokes at their expense. But TIMs are not a laughing matter. I think they’re too much of a threat to our physical safety and emotional well-being. And they’re a major time and attention suckage vortex also. Look at how much time and attention we’ve given them and need to continue giving them just to protect ourselves. No one can possibly think they’re just a joke and anyone who does, especially TRAs are making a heavy contribution to the problem.

@maiden Also, that knowing glance thrown by adults who secretly laugh at TIMs behind their backs won’t be shared by a couple of 10 year old girls in the women’s restroom. They’ll be too terrified and just try to get the fuck out as quickly as possible. It’s a shame that all the people who know TIMs are bullshitting, aren’t speaking up. They’re just cowards who are letting a handful of brave, mostly women, do all the fighting for society’s benefit.

@B_Reasonable they view them as the ultimate victims - like i said, adults with a disorder who have to be handled gently. Thats why theyll laugh but support them (vaguely). My mother in law had a TIM who we played d&d with, and any time he did something off or just...ovelyr sexual or weird, shed just get uncomfortable and ignore it, then laugh about it later. She said he cried to her about how hard his life was - wife leaving, kids not talking to him, being clocked by strangers (lol), so she had a lot of sympathy, even when he said dumb sexist shit. She still called him "he" behind his back, and even if we agreed that "trans women arent women" when the two of us talked about it, shed say "hes different, hes just new at it, hes trying" because she felt bad for him. I agree its not...great, but i think the people who do "support" them like that still know the truth. Theyre just afraid of hurting a mentally unwell person, so they put on the toddler gloves and treat them like glass, refusing to call out their bullshit.I did tell her about the "troon steals womens tampons to make tea" thing and we neeeever had d&d at his place again, though. But shed insist that "not all of them are like that", but she knew enough to not want to throw away tampons out around him.

@maiden Interesting question! I think we all wonder if or how much they believe their fabricated alternate reality. I suppose some must, but perhaps the extreme defensiveness seen in the "no debate" screeching, threats and over-the-top reactions to even the most gently-stated defence of reality gives us a hint as to how shaky their beliefs are.
