Earlier today I went into a vegan bakery I really enjoyed, for the first time in months. It's the only strictly vegan establishment in town and I was happy to support them. Plus they really do have delicious goodies and it was nice to have a place to go where I didn't have to wonder what is vegan and what isn't.I walked into the place and as I was waiting my turn to order I noticed they had a sticker of that fugly gender woo woo flag on one of the windows. You know the one; the rainbow colors on the left, black and brown stripes in the middle and the pedo trans colors of white and pastel blue and pink on the right. So cringe, especially since it was next to a Black Lives Matter sticker. As I was walking out with my treats I passed the restroom. Now, the business is small and there's only 1 restroom. The sign on the door used to just have 'Restroom' on it. But in the months since I'd last been there, they took the sign down and replaced it with a new one that reads 'ALL GENDER RESTROOM'. Like wtf? There's only ONE restroom! Anytime a place only has one restroom they just have a simple 'Restroom' sign, not that performative foolishness.I won't be going back.

@BCLADY @Jae This is huge. I'm going to look into this further. I actually had no idea that Premarin (pregnant mare urine) was used for transing; I had heard about it only for menopause, and it had been years since I'd looked into it. (Animal rights groups used to talk about it a lot.)

@Cousin_Isobel @BCLADY @Jae I think very few oestrogen tablets are made using mare's piss any more - I was on one of the last for menopausal symptoms, and it got withdrawn several years back. Mostly it's synthetic oestrogen these days.But good point about how menopausal women were vilified for taking a medicine they actually needed for debilitating symptoms, whereas men who have a fetish for pretending to be women don't get vilified at all. Funny that!

@Jae I see this in my future. I'm a vegan who stayed home for most of the pandemic, and, in my area, the pandemic was apparently a time when businesses were revamping and putting out "gender" signage and policies.It's honestly going to break my heart. I'm going to the biggest vegan bakery in my state next week and I'm expecting the worst.
