Meanwhile in Australia, the Federal Gov yesterday announced the Victorian State Gov contract with China's Belt and Road Initiative, had been torn up and scrapped. Several other contracts between States and overseas Corporations had been torn up as well. Daniel Andrews, the Victorian Premier has not been seen in public (or elsewhere for that matter) since being hospitalised earlier this year after a reported fall down stairs at his home in Melbourne.Make of that what you will,,,,,,,

Personally, I think there is a lot more happening behind the Daniel Andrews 'no show' story, however there are not too many in the MSM asking many questions. Andrews, leading the response to the Covid thing, is ultimately responsible for many bungles that have cost too many Victorians their lives. @lolajl He is the Premier of Victoria Lola. Virtually the same lofty height as a US State Governor. First reports were that his back was badly injured and he actually went into ICU. From memory the accident was in February, and there was not an outrageous amount of hoo haa from the media. I would have expected a fair bit more.I did see some press questions last week about his lack of show, but no answers. Interesting indeed.

@OneRandomGuy Ardern is taking them down a path that is not sitting that well with most Kiwi's. @OneRandomGuy yep they did, but most of her votes and majority come from the major urban areas, home to most of the Green Left. The outer, country areas, are where the middle class workers live and work. Like the Labor Party in Queensland just put Anna Paluschuk back in power here, courtesy of the Brisbane and S.E. @MadBeachBimbo This Victorian Premier, presided over a massive (for us) debacle by giving a contrct for Quarantine Security to a Private firm. The Security staff were given 5 minutes of instructions which resulted in transmission across Victoria, because the staff were acting as security in multiple venues. The staff were letting those in quarantine mingle anywhere inside the hotel. Some reports even saying sex was had between some staff and some Quarantined. Over 800 deaths resulted.
