@watch4thedrop yes I do. Most places split the tips. I give $5-10 depending on the wash (vacuum & interior cleaning).

@watch4thedrop Not when in Australia as there is fixed minimum wage so tipping is not required. I find to be civilised.

@watch4thedrop I worked at a large car wash (many years ago) - the people taking money inside got paid more (no tips).The people working outside to clean the inside of the windows after the car was washed got tips. Typical tip was about 10-20% of the wash price.I got a GS-5 job after a few weeks and made more per hour than any of those jobs.
