@ThomasWic I don't see as many strange aircraft as you do where you are located, but I will say, once I started getting interested in checking the flight trackers I started looking over my location more. There's not a whole ton of them, but probably once a week or so now I see contrails and aircraft that are WAY higher than the usual 35,000-40,000 I see on the trackers, and not always in the NE-to-SW path. I may start taking a gander at least with binocs.

@ThomasWic This book will give you more insight into what Law Enforcement could and couldn’t do years ago. Especially in Texas. Bottom line? You are right. They could, and did do about anything they felt like they had to do to catch or kill a Criminal. Very good read. I knew folks that were around then, and remembering their stories, of Rangers and Bonnie and Clyde, and after seeing the movie The Highway Men on Net flicks, which is pretty accurate by the way, I bought this book….
