       I suspect the vaccine shortages are fake and being engineered to create a sense of urgency on the public. “Gotta get that vaccine now before they run out!”

       @deathpanelsIn the US last I heard 200M doses were promised and 158M have been used. Lots of places now willing to give it to anyone which could indicate lack of demand. 40% of US Marines refuse it, supporting that theory. So objectively I would tend to agree with your speculation.
