       oh, i forgot to post about this. i recently got these two switches - they have 8xsfp+ in the front, and an additionnal 8x sfp+ and 2x qsfp+ in the back...

       @s0 its for home, but i need like 10 ports at most. i found them for cheap on ebay, i bought them just for the sfp+ and qsfp+ ports, and because i wanted to play around with proper l3 switches (apparently these will do full layer 3 routing at line rate) and ansible has a module for them so i can play around with network automation.

       @NHG omg amazing. I’ve got one 48 port with two SFP+ salvaged from work upgrades and a fan less 24 port I’m looking forward to using
