Not only is it gross but it effectively makes widespread adoption and usage of the fediverse untenable. You can’t access TWKN in public, at work, on transportation, at school—it’s one thing for people to be posting textual obscenities or discussing radical politics, it’s totally different to have graphic depictions of men fucking toddlers on the screen. It essentially forces the hands of instance administrators to adopt liberal use of MRF tools to silence/reject or otherwise censor other instances if they want *their* instance to be accessible and usable by users “out of the box” among civilization. That’s to the detriment of their own users afa accessibility of content and engagement with other uses, and the detriment of users living on outside instances where that garbage gets posted.

The average person is likely technically capable of finding that age range—specifically after puberty—sexually attractive if we're just going by historical precedence but it's stigmatization that, well, stigmatizes it. Being attracted to prepubescence is however 100% abnormal and that's true pedophilia. The stigmatization is good though because up until around 24 years old a much older person can use/take advantage of your undeveloped brain. After puberty the age gap is more important than the age of the younger person in a vacuum.When creeps say "18 is just a number", ironically they're sorta right. It IS arbitrary. They're just thinking in the wrong direction. The age of consent should be raised to about 24. By "age of consent" I mean when age gaps are no longer policed. Until the youngest is 24 the age gap should be no bigger than 3-4 maybe 5 years.A 15 year old with a 17 year old should be legal. A 15 year old with a 30 year old should be very illegal. An 18 year old with a 30 year old should also be illegal. Penalties for violating this if the youngest person is past puberty should be at least as severe as what we do today if not more so. People who touch prepubescent kids should just be flat out executed on the spot.

It's called the Mediterranean marriage pattern, and it offers a lot of huge benefits. Namely, the groom being in his late 20s-early 30s means that he's established in his trade and both financially able and mature enough to support a family, while at the same time the bride being in her early to mid teens means that she has the full use of her 2-3 decades of fertility to produce offspring while also being young and impressionable enough to develop a very deep pair bond with her husband and build her personality around him.Northern Europe tended to use a different pattern where both parties married in their mid 20s, which was probably advantageous for that region due to shorter growing seasons and lower crop yield limiting the sustainable population and thus making the high birth rate of the Mediterranean pattern less desirable.

@Ricotta again, in that case, we're still talking about post-pubescence. additionally, such pairings do not fit within the contemporary societal notions of consent and self-determination. you're in many ways stealing people's futures and making life decisions on their behalf or otherwise grooming them. furthermore, while that might've worked in earlier times, it doesn't really suit contemporary models of civilization. certainly, if you were to radically change society, culture, civilization, and material conditions then you might be able to get away with making it commonplace to impregnate 15 year olds again.@Vivernu @Immahnoob @Meemoo @billiam @lain_os
