Update on the #Verizon #PinePhone sit:So the sim they activated does not work at all, yesterday they were closed when I called. Tbc, Verizon service does work ofc. Tested by me on #Mobian , #DanctNIX & Manjaro. The only thing is, the first few weeks of owning the PP, even when MM was still not up to par; I could receive sms then. After a few weeks it soured. Kept tweaking things thinking OS issue, but na. This is totally the carrier. Everybody else on Verizon seems fine. Calling again today.

@freddylove When I kicked around multiple providers SIM's on my 2nd release PINEPhone (Before sending it pack), I found a lot of providers would have regional eccentricities in their APN settings. This might explain partial services working while others do.Worth a dig on the websearchz.

@freddylove https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/PinePhone_APN_SettingsVerizon on this list shows a couple alternate APN's used by Verizon out there. Also, make sure the SIM is a canon-verizon vs another-provider-piggybacking Verizon as you can see there are references in there regarding. If you tried all this: Sorry, figured I'd at least send a shout out to help. ;) Be well.
