But where i am, there are very few covid cases and the death rate is very low and almost 0 in my age group. @ThomasWic 1) I have not been vaccinated yet. My primary physician is waiting for an ok from my neurologist. (My MS makes it tricky on what I can take sometimes.)This last Thursday morning at 4am I saw the ambulance come and take my 84 year old neighbor to the hospital. She had underlying problems, but was deemed safe to get the vaccine a few days ago.They are still trying to find what happened now.Another neighbor, 67, has been sick all for days after getting the shot last week.

@ThomasWic I like what I read about the Johnson and Johnson version. One shot and no serious reaction or hospitalization cases. I'll take it when I get the opportunity. I know people my age who died from COVID, and some who spent weeks in ICU. That's mid to late 50s. It's a real deal. I also know people who said it was no worse than a cold. My wife can't take it nor the flu shot - egg suspension causes anaphylactic response.

@ThomasWic Wifey and I had the discussion of being vaccinated. She opined that I was anti vax. I told her that, no, I will take it when I need it. I have no friends here and am kind of shunned by her family. Very limited contact with humanity on the whole. I don't feel the need to wear a mask (tested negative when I arrived back to DK) but I do when I go shopping. So when I travel back stateside I will, if required, get the vax.

@ThomasWic We have to remember that this is his opinion and he has every right to express it. Wictor is much like Spock on the Star Trek series when it comes to vaccines. Full of logic based on his own mainstream knowledge. Very left brain indeed. It can make perfect sense.But notice, when it comes to Trump, he goes outside the mainstream and gives us many more possibilities. Very right brain - the big picture. I haven’t gotten to Covid shot because I just got my second Shingles shot. If it’s not one thing, it’s another, shot I mean!
