@gerrybrabant It APPEARS that the mics were added in post-production.Twice, the mics are moved past his hands and close to his body, which is not necessary to catch his voice.Biden was there, but the mics weren't.

Looks like the Biden team decided to HIDE the fact the press was kept yards away from the President and they CGI'd some mics into the video later to make it LOOK like the reporters were right in front of Biden. I"ve never seen Biden lean forward like that struggling to hear someone who was supposedly just 2-3 feet in front of him.

My guess is that this was an edit made to use only on tv, with graphics over it, but got mixed up and published to the online channels.

After those couple of questions, he walks around toward Marine1 and the noise of turning rotors. The rotors were Still.
