@crisp The most goofball take on stocks is that price is tied to "consumer experience" or "product quality".The price is tied to raw power and influence. How much market share do they have? What is their plan to absolutely fuck everyone that doesn't submit? etc

@crisp I want to say though, that there is a sliver of truth to the phrase. Not in equity markets certainly, but the franchises that get ruined, even original shows that end up collapsing under weight of woke lecturing...it's just that it doesn't matter because they'll keep making it regardless of what shareholders want. Hell, it even happens in non-culture generating (or destroying) organizations.
