Even for the Covid vaccine their solution is an app that folks download and self-report. Many older folks don’t do smart phones and the program has no desktop version. Meaning they must use the app, they can’t go online. So how are ACTUAL injuries being tracked and separated from anecdotal self-reports? Even docs have nowhere to report to but VAERS🤦♀️

Instead they listen to and believe some headline. My sister who has had a blood clot in her lung, COPD 75 years old believes everything she reads. If you give the public a confusing/cluttered system and then tell them to peruse it for data to prove things are safe they’re going to get confused and scared. The only real way to have a better system is to have a doctor follow around every patient for a period of time after receiving the vaccine and document only the relevant side effects. Obviously this is not plausible so what we have now is likely the best we're gonna get. The problem is not really with the system anyways it's with the public's perception of the system.

So it seems that many doctors either aren’t aware of VAERS or the time it takes to report makes doing so unappealing. @Debradelai @EarlThePearls my mom’s pathology came back yesterday. She has brain cancer. She’ll be 80 in October. She took first Pfizer does and in between second shot her headache’s became worse. She hadn’t had her second shot yet. It would be easy to scapegoat the vaccine but that’s highly unlikely. She beat breast cancer in 2018, it more than likely traveled to her brain. I appreciate the well wishes in advance. It’s fine, my family understands death. It’s part of life.

Ever since we got the standing order to immunize, most doctors have just been sending their patients to get their vaccinations at the pharmacy. That way they can free up their time to do more important doctor-y stuff and they don't have to deal with all the vaccination paperwork such as VAERs and other regulations.

My brother is an officer of 20 years and said it’s really not a great restraint hold I keep forgetting it was being used to help him during the overdose. @awfulangel Data out of Israel and other places says that the first Pfizer dose confers 85% immunity. I agree that it was not the vaccine, but I would not argue with her if she decided not to take the second one. I'm not the first in line to buy a new operating system or phone (I just upgraded to an iPhone 8) I prefer to let all the info be gathered over time so I can make an informed choice.So I'm not rushing out to get this vaccine. No problem with vaccines in general, but with anything I prefer to wait for others to work out the bugs in the particular system.
