@LostInCalifornia @Taizy8 Reminds me of a Russian mathematician I knew a couple of decades back who said one of the reasons the Soviet Union produced so many superb mathematicians was because it was an ideologically safe branch of science to go into which couldn't easily be politicised (unlike, say, biology and Lysenkoism). I think we'll see a similar thing here - maths, physics, engineering, chemistry will remain "safe." No-one in their right mind with an aptitude for science who cares about science will want to go into biology. Medicine will become a calculated risk - what's your risk of being sacked or hit with malpractice proceedings when the woke culture makes doing your job impossible. Can you go into a woman centred discipline like obstetrics? Will you be hit with a malpractice suit if you're a kidney specialist and your female patient doesn't want to be treated as female, but insists you kill them by interpreting their blood results as male?

@EmmyNoether @Taizy8 There has already been a case where a TM lost a baby because she didn’t tell the doctor she was female.The person who wrote it up for a medical journal put the onus on the doctor. I think the person who wrote it up is a goddamned fool.

@LostInCalifornia @Taizy8 And a case where a TM nearly died because she insisted on having the male blood test levels used despite the fact that the male tables would have indicated "keep an eye on patient and consider dialysis" while the correct female tables indicated "patient is about to die, put her at the top of the transplant list."
