@oystergirl yes I have heard of this and started to do a little reading on it when this was happening. I did not ever “will” it per say but at one time I became more open I guess is the word. That is when I experienced it more often but I don’t think on the level others have who can actually will it. @inverness01 Yes, it makes sense. Most of the people who I know that can travel didn't try to do it. They just did it and learned over time to control it. With the world "not as calm" as it used to be, they decided to stop and since they had a level of control, they could do that. I know it might be hard for others to understand, but I am sure you do.

@oystergirl no I completely do.. I also recall this moments I used to have often would occur and a less deep sleep phase or I guess what they call REM. That most notable experience where I was consciously floating above my body on the couch was a nap . That was a controlled return. I almost feel after that one I somehow controlled the experiences more. I do wonder why it seems to have just stopped later in life.

@Julie @oystergirl good question and not too versed here other then my experiences. When I had these astral experiences I knew exactly what the were when it was Happening but there was no real dream if that makes sense . It was more like a semi out of body experience where you are conciliatory it is happening and that ur asleep . It is quite hard for me to really explain. Almost like floating through the universe . This sounds nuts but like flying .

@Julie @oystergirl when I had lucid dreams they were more like a normal dream. For instance when I na was younger and my brother passed away - he came to me in a dream. In my dream I hugged and cried and asked him why . Why did this happen? In this dream I knew I was dreaming and I begged him to come see me more often. In my dream he did not say much but the message was- I have no answer as to the why but it just “is” and I knew that his face told me he wld not return on the regular.
